I was a normal princess with normal dreams until one day I met the one woman that would change my life forever. Beauty and power seemed to resonate from her. All I knew was she would free me from the tyranny of my uncle. That murderous bastard took from me the only people that truly loved me, my parents.

My story has been told so many times, but the only part you hear is how I turned a prince into a beast and a beautiful young bookworm saved him from a lifetime of damnation. I must be a horrible person for trying to teach that pompous, arrogant jackass a lesson. The truth is far more complicated than the story tells and begins way before I turned the prince into a beast.

My name is Jacob, but I am known as the wolf. The story goes that I hunted down a little girl in a red hooded cloak that was headed to her grandmother’s house. Let me clarify, I did not hunt that girl. And I wasn’t always a wolf. Old grandma dearest turned me into a wolf years before I ever saw Red. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
